The OASIS Math Assessment Test is designed to provide a clear picture of each student’s current math skills, understanding, and problem-solving abilities. This assessment is not a pass-or-fail exam; instead, it serves as a diagnostic tool that highlights individual strengths and areas that may need improvement. By identifying specific skill gaps, whether in foundational concepts, computational accuracy, algebraic reasoning, or higher-level thinking, the assessment equips peer tutors with the information they need to offer personalized, effective support.

The results help tutors tailor their sessions to each student’s unique learning needs, ensuring that time spent together is targeted, efficient, and impactful. Ultimately, the OASIS Math Assessment Test helps create a more productive tutoring experience by fostering intentional instruction, boosting student confidence, and supporting long-term academic success in mathematics.
